In this guide I show you how to copy the investment portfolios of crypto venture capital firms in just 5 minutes.

But first, why would you want to do that?

Before any investment, crypto venture capital firms submit crypto projects to a thorough analysis and evaluation process, which examines the following focal points, among others:

  • Industry and use case
  • Business model
  • Experience and motivation of the project team
  • Growth potential

In order to examine these things, numerous meetings are undertaken with management teams, financial reviews are conducted, etc.

In short: VCs gain insights into crypto projects that are usually not possible for retail investors or not to the same extent.

This means: If a crypto VC firm invests in a project, then the chances are high that it is a solid project with great growth opportunities. And that is why you want to invest in the same projects as these firms have in their portfolios.

Sounds great! But how do you do that?

It’s actually very easy.

Things to Look out for When Researching the Portfolios of Crypto VCs

  • Always do your own research. Don’t simply trust an other person’s or institution’s judgement. Understand what you want to invest in. Check out my article on researching cryptocurrencies if you want to learn more about this. 👇👇
  • Some of these companies’ investments were made years ago and have not performed well. That’s why it would often be the best choice to focus on newer projects in the respective portfolios. What you want are projects that are actively building.
  • Not all investment companies are equally successful. Choose a reputable company like a160z, Binance Labs, or Kenetic to start with.

And that’s it!
