Crypto News 2023 Sentiment Analysis

Things we can learn from news about Altcoins, Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.

In this analysis, I take a look at sentiment in crypto news articles through the year 2023.

This data set from Kaggle served as the basis for the analysis. The authors scraped crypto news from three platforms and then analyzed sentiment to assign each entry a positive, neutral, or negative sentiment.

In my analysis, I examine how sentiment changed in 2023 and whether differences between various topic areas and news platforms can be identified.

Crypto News Sentiment Through 2023

Let’s start by looking at the cumulative data for Positive, Neutral, and Negative sentiments. The growth in the respective areas varies but is constant.
